The Yonex Vcore Pro 100 2021 (300 g) is part of the Yonex VCore Pro serie, the most control oriented/least powerful tennis racquets from Yonex.
Yonex EZone racquets are the most powerful and the VCore racquets are intermediate in terms of power, top spin oriented, quite versatile.
But be careful, if you compare for instance the Yonex Ezone 98 to the Yonex VCore 100, you might feel that the VCore 100 is more powerful.
When you compare racquets from different series, it's important to compare racquets with the same head size and same weight.
Concerning the Yonex VCore Pro 100 2021 (300 g), it remains a control oriented tennis racquet, but it's not too hard to play with this racquet.
There is a good mix between power and control, nice access to top spin, great manoeuverability.
The racquet still has these technologies:
I found this 2021 version more comfortable and more powerful than the previous version.
The Yonex VCore Pro 100 is a control oriented racquet, with slightly reduced power.
In this category of racquets, it is not one of the hardest to play and it remains accessible for many players.
I found this version more clearly powerful than the previous one.
On my forehand, I had the perfect amount of power, very good feeling.
On my backhand slice, I lacked control on my first shots because the ball was going to high, I don't really know why, I quickly adjusted my shots and overall it was fine.
I had a very nice mix between power and control on my topspin backhand, a shot that is always interesting to evaluate the control side of a frame because it's a powerful shot in my game.
Finally I had a good control, I was not fear to let my arm go freely and to make a mistake.
It was fine also on my serve, which is a shot that I rather use to evaluate the power of a frame, because it's not very powerful.
This racquet will be interesting for players who want a 645 cm² / 100 in² tennis racquet with slightly reduced power that is still relatively easy to play.
Nevertheless, I think it's better if you are able to produce some power with your game, and if you have large and loose swings.
To help you locate the racquet in terms of power, here is a comparison with other racquets:

Less powerful racquets:
The access to top spin provided by the Yonex Vcore Pro 100 is quite correct, thanks to the versatility of the 645 cm² headsize and the 16x19 string pattern.
I didn't struggle at all to make the strings move and to get a nice access to top spin.
The balance of the Yonex VCore Pro 100 is located at 32 cm for an unstrung racquet, which is a neutral balance, not too much weight at the tip of the racquet, not too much weight in the handle.
With the shape of the head which is rather elongated, I find the racquet a little more easier to swing than other racquets with the same characteristics with a more rounded shape.
Thus, I had very good feelings on my one handed topspin backhand.
Overall I found the maneuverability of the racquet to be very good, from the baseline, at the net and also on the serve, where it can be useful to accelerate the tip of the racquet at impact.
I was surprised by the comfort provided by this version of the VCore Pro 100.
Lots of softness when hitting, very good vibration dampening, it was a pleasure to play with this racquet.
It must be taken into account that the string I used was a loosely stretched Wilson revolve 1.25 mm, around 22-23 kg, a string that I always find very comfortable.
Anyway, it shows it's possible to have a great comfort with this racquet.
The racquet also offers a very good tolerance for off-centered shots.
I would recommend this racquet to tennis players who meet these criteria:
